Binusmaya is the web portal for Binus University students to access their student profile, enrolled classes, schedules, and other university-related information.
In 2019 when this project was made, Binusmaya only existed in web form accessible only by browsers with limited interaction design. It is difficult for users to quickly navigate through important information such as class schedules and locations, as well as assignment deadlines. This inspired me to create Binus Buddy, an app that contains all university-related activities and information in a compact and user-friendly way for students on-the-go.
My favourite aspect of the design is the colour indicators, giving users a visualisation of urgency and priorities (e.g. red, yellow, green).
The overall layout, can be improved by minimising the header to give more room for body content, and implementing progress bars for GPA, Social Hours, and SAT Points.
